HC Deb 26 February 1908 vol 184 cc1735-6
MR. W. T. Wilson (Lancashire, Westhoughton)

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he can state how it was that the employees in the Construction Department in the Royal Dockyard at Portsmouth were only allowed from 16th January to 9 o'clock a.m. 17th January, to consider a revised compensation for accidents scheme submitted to them, although the Treasury recommended that a week should be allowed for its consideration.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) Instructions were given for the time to be extended to 27th January, and the men concerned were informed accordingly.
