§ MR. GLADSTONEThe number of tons of coal raised during 1907 was approximately 267,000,000. The latest information in my possession as to the hours of work in coal mines is that which was obtained for the Departmental Committee on the Eight Hours Day for Miners. I would refer my hon. friend to the appendices of that Report.
