§ MR. NIELD (Middlesex, Ealing)To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what was the date of the last increase in the number of the staff of male and female inspectors, respectively, and assistant inspectors of factories and workshops, and what was the extent of the increase in each case.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Gladstone.) The last increase was in 1906, when four junior inspectors, four inspector's assistants, and three lady inspectors were added to the staff.
