To ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, what quantities of the following classes of cereals were imported into this country during the year 1902–3, and what duty was paid per cwt. and in the aggregate on each class: wheat (grain), wheat (meal and flour), barley, oats, oatmeal, maize, maize meal, peas, beans, and other corn and meal.

I would refer my hon. friend to the 47th Report of the Board of Customs, for the year ended 31st March, 1903, Command Paper 1753, which contains in Table XI., Appendix I., on pages 58 and 59, the information desired in respect of corn and grain, etc, charged with duty for home consumption from 15th April, 1902, to 31st March. 1903.
