To ask the Secretary of State for War, whether he is aware that John Gillespie, who served in the Inniskilling Fusiliers from 1892 to 1904, when he was discharged, receiving the character Very Good, having spent eleven years and three months in foreign service and obtained two medals with two clasps, has been an inmate, owing to stroke of paralysis super-induced by hardship endured in British campaigns, of Ballyshannon Workhouse; and whether it is intended to take any, and, if so, what, steps by way of pension or otherwise to relieve him from destitution.
