§ MR. COURTHOPE (Sussex, Rye)To ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer when the promised Committee to inquire into the status of the Board of Trade, Local Government Board, and Board of Agriculture will be set up, and what will be the composition of such Committee.
(Answered by Mr. Asquith.) I stated that the inquiry would not be by a Committee, but would be undertaken by the Government itself. I am not at present in a position to make any further statement on the subject.
