§ MR. CLAUDE HAYI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will take steps to expedite the completion of the business necessary to enable him to lay Papers dealing with the recruiting of indentured labourers from the Island of Madagascar.
§ MR. CHURCHILLNo, Sir; I see no reason why a correspondence should be manufactured in order to lay Papers. The Transvaal Government will continue the correspondence when they desire to do so.
