CLAUDE HAYI beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether in view of the fact that the vacancy for a sub-postmaster at Ilminster, Taunton, was advertised recently at a salary of £120 per annum, and that a number of the members of the established staff applied for the position, he will state the reason for its being allocated to a person who was not a member of the postal staff.
