COURTHOPETo ask the President of the Board of Trade, whether Chinese and negro labour is employed in the cultivation of hops on the Pacific Coast of America; and how the wages of such Chinese and negro labourers respectively compare with those paid to hop pickers and others employed in the industry in this country.
