§ MR. HALDANEThe numbers in the arsenal have not yet reached the normal minimum proposed, but the gradual reduction to that minimum will be effected by wastage, and not by further discharges.
§ MR. J. WARD (Stoke-on-Trent)Will the right hon. Gentleman consult the Admiralty in view of the fact that some 2,000 men at Devonport Dockyard are working overtime? Cannot he find work for the Woolwich men there?
