§ MR. SHEEHAN (Cork, Mid.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that an Improvement Scheme, under the Labourers Acts, has been promoted by the Dummanway Rural District Council; and will he explain the delay in holding the local inquiry into the scheme, and state whether it is attributable to the district council or the Local Government Board.
§ MR. CHERRYThe scheme in question has not yet been submitted by the rural district council to the Local Government Board for confirmation. The district council have had the matter in hand since 1st February, 1907.
