MR. HERBERTI beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, having regard to the value of British trade in Turkey and to the fact that various nations grant subsidies to commercial schools in Constantinople for the purpose of training boys of their own nationality to represent the interests of their trade, he is prepared to recommend the granting of a small subsidy to the English high school for boys in Constantinople.
§ SIR EDWARD GREYThe question of making such a grant is now under consideration.
