WEDGWOOD (Newcastle-under-Lyme)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will say how many persons were committed to prison in England and Wales during 1907 in default of payment of a fine imposed for breach of a bye-law or a similar regulation; and how many such persons were boys and girls under the age of sixteen.
