HC Deb 11 February 1908 vol 183 c1512
MR. BARRIE (Londonderry, N.)

To ask the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) whether he has received a resolution from the Londonderry County Council referring to the recent refusal of the Irish Privy Council to sanction the fishery limit at the entrance to Lough Foyle as fixed by his department; and what action he proposes to take in reference thereto.

(Answered by Mr. T. W. Russell.) The Department have received the resolution in question, and have informed the Londonderry County Council that the Lord-Lieutenant in Council declined to approve of the by-law referred to. As that decision is final, the Department are unable to take any further steps in the matter.
