§ state under what regulation sergeants of the permanent staff have a mess in a provincial town other than regimental quarters; and can civilians become honorary members.
§ (Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) The regulations do not contemplate the establishment of a sergeants' mess at a place away from the regimental head-quarters, nor do they provide for civilians being made honorary members. If the honourable Member will specify any case in which the regulations have been infringed, inquiry will be made.
