HERBERT (Buckinghamshire, Wycombe)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether it is the intention of the Government to appoint a small Committee to draw up a Code of Law or statement of principles of Prize Law as a basis of instructions to the representatives of this country at any international conference assembled for the purpose of arriving at an agreement upon Prize Law.
§ SIR EDWARD GREYI cannot at present make any detailed statement as to the course His Majesty's Government will adopt: the whole question is at present engaging the careful consideration of the Departments concerned.
§ SIR CHARLES DILKEWhen are we likely to have the proceedings at the conference. They have been promised and we do not know what was actually done.
