MR. BRIDGEMAN

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Education, whether those who petitioned for a grant out of the fund provided in the Appropriation Act, 1907, for a new school at Penycae, in Denbighshire, were informed that no charge would be made upon the rates; and, if so, whether that information was given with the knowledge of the local education authority or of the Board of Education.

The Board have no knowledge of what information was given, whether by the local education authority or by any other persons.
