HC Deb 18 December 1908 vol 198 cc2241-2
MR. J. MACVEAGH

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that an evicted tenant named James Boyle, Laurencetown, County Down, applied for reinstatement in November, 1905, but as yet without result; and whether the Estates Commissioners will at once reconsider the case.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) James Boyle has applied to the Estates Commissioners for reinstatement in a holding of less than six acres now in the occupation of his uncle. The Commissioners do not see their way to depart from their decision not to take any action in the matter.
