MR. RUPERT GUINNESS (Shoreditch, Haggerston)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury what steps the Government propose to take in accordance with the undertaking given by the Treasury in February, 1908, to propose legislation to amend the law as to superannuation in the Civil Service upon the lines recommended by the Courtney Commission.

(Answered, by Mr. Hobhouse.) I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by the Prime Minister to a similar Question on the 6th ultimo, in which he stated that he hoped that the Bill might be introduced next session.
