GEORGE ROBERTS (Norwich)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Education if steps have yet been taken to carry into effect the promise of his predecessor in office, made to a deputation from the County Councils Association in February last, to give financial aid to local education authorities in respect of the cost of organising and carrying out medical inspection in schools; and, if so, will he state the nature of the proposals and when they will come into operation.
