§ MR. O'DOWDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland can he say how long after the ago of sixty-three did Mr. Thomas Quigley, late teacher of Drumcharley (2) National School, Tulla, County Clare, serve as teacher before retiring on pension; did he pay premiums to the pension fund during the extra time he served; and, if so, will he be allowed a proportionate share of pension or have the premiums refunded.
§ MR. BIRRELLI am informed that Mr. Quigley served as a teacher for nine months after reaching the age of sixty-three, and that he paid premiums to the pension fund during that period. The Pension Rules do not provide for the grant of a proportionate part of the pension or for the repayment of the premiums in such a case.
