HUGH LAW (Donegal, W.)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether the Government intend in the coming session to introduce legislation to carry out any of the recommendations of the Select Committee on Home Work; and whether, in the event of their doing so, they will bear in mind the necessity of making special provision for the distinct case of home workers in rural districts.
§ MR. ASQUITHI am afraid that I am not in a position to make any pledges as to the legislation to be introduced next session. In the event of a Bill to carry out the recommendations of the Select Committee on Home Work being introduced, due regard will, no doubt, be had to the case of rural as distinguished from urban home workers.
