FLYNN (Cork, N.)I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has been made aware of complaints concerning the inadequate supply of application forms under the Old-Age Pensions Act for the districts of Newmarket, Meelin, Rockchapel, and Boherbee, 1280 County Cork, and the complaint of the Rev. Father Norris, chairman of the Newmarket sub-committee, to the pension officer that many applications have not yet been made in the district owing to this cause; and whether immediate steps will be taken to remedy this defect in the administration of the Act.
§ MR. SYDNEY BUXTONMy right hon. friend has asked me to reply to this Question. I was not aware that the supply of application forms under the Old-Age Pension Act had in any case been found inadequate; and I will have immediate inquiry made respecting the districts mentioned by the hon. Member.
