HC Deb 14 December 1908 vol 198 c1224
MR. F. MEEHAN (Leitrim, N.)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether his attention has been called to the inadequacy of the accommodation of the Post Office in Drumkeerin, County Leitrim; whether he is aware that the public are compelled to remain in the open street in all sorts of weather awaiting replies to queries; and whether he will give instructions that the necessary accommodation should be provided in connection with this Post Office.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) The accommodation provided at the Drumkeerin Post Office is considered to be sufficient for the requirements of the locality. A counter will, however, be provided by the sub-postmaster as soon as he can make the necessary arrangements.
