HC Deb 11 December 1908 vol 198 c939
MR. H. J. TENNANT (Berwickshire)

To ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer what progress, if any, has been made towards carrying out the recommendations of the Committee appointed to inquire into the scientific and statistical methods to be adopted by the Government in relation to the fishing industry; and whether any difficulties are being placed in the way of adopting those recommendations by any of the Departments concerned.

(Answered by Mr. Lloyd-George.) I am in communication with the several Departments concerned; but I am unable at present to make any statement as to the conclusions at which the Government may arrive.
