HC Deb 11 December 1908 vol 198 c936
MR. LUPTON (Lincolnshire, Sleaford)

To ask the President of the Local Government Board if the Report of the Departmental Committee on the use of preservatives and colouring matters in the preservation and colouring of food, published in 1901, is now out of print; and, if so, whether, in view of the demand for copies of this Report and the value of the information therein contained, he will cause another edition to be printed.

(Answered by Mr. John Burns.) I understand that it is the case that the Report is out of print. There would be an advantage in copies of it being available; but whether the demand for it is sufficient to justify the cost of printing it I am unable, to say. The matter is one for the Controller of the Stationery Office, and I will communicate with him with regard to it.
