To ask the Secretary of State for War whether the quartermasters of Special Reserve, Royal Field Artillery have made application for some increase of pay on the ground of their doing adjutants' work in addition to their own; and whether he can now see his way to give them something for it.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) Some applications have been received It has been decided that, taking the work of these officers as a whole, no grant of extra remuneration could be justified.
