JOWETT (Bradford, W.)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board if he will inform the House how many public officials have been in attendance on the Chairman of the Housing and Town Planning Committee during the sittings of that body; what are the names of the said officials; and what offices they hold.
§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. JOHN BURNS,) BatterseaThere are two clerks to the Standing Committee to which the Bill was referred and these officers may in a sense be said to have been in attendance on the chairman during the sittings of the Committee in connection with this Bill. But subject to this I am not aware that any public officials were in attendance on him. In accordance with the usual practice the draftsman and some officers of the Government Departments concerned were present.
