§ MR. O'SHAUGHNESSY (Limerick, W.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can say whether the Estates Commissioners received an application from John P. Liston, of Cooltomin, Shanagoldon, in the county of Limerick, for reinstatement in the holding from which his father, since deceased, was evicted; and, if so, what action do they intend to take in the matter.
§ (Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners do not propose to take any action on this application. The holding in question was bought under the Purchase of Land (Ireland) Act, 1891. The applicant is the owner of a portion of it, and his aunt is the owner of the remainder.
