HC Deb 03 December 1908 vol 197 cc1623-4
MR. CROOKS (Woolwich)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will inquire of the Woolwich police as to the working of the privilege cab system at the Arsenal Station; whether it would be in the interest of the travelling public to declare the station an open one; and whether friction is caused by the privileged cabmen taking the outside stands in. addition to the privilege stand.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Gladstone.) The inquiry which, as I informed the hon. Member last Monday, I am making into this matter is not yet completed. I hope to be able to inform him of my decision very shortly.
