REDDY (King's County, Birr)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state what steps have been taken by the Estates Commissioners to reinstate an evicted tenant named Rose Egan on the property of Lord Rosse at Clonlyon Castle, King's County, the agent having told Rose Egan that he was willing she should be reinstated by the Commissioners.
§ MR. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners inform me that this holding has been inspected and that they have intimated to the owner the price which they are willing to advance for the purchase of the evicted farm, provided the evicted tenant is reinstated and signs a purchase agreement.
