§ MR. LONSDALE (Armagh, Mid)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether the Mohmand raiders have been joined by large bodies of Afghans; and whether the authority of the Amir has been invoked to check this movement.
§ MR. CHARLES HOBHOUSEAfghan subjects have participated in the Mohmand rising, but as was stated yesterday in reply to a similar Question the action taken by the Amir to prevent such participation seems to be producing the desired result. The Government of India have been in communication with the Amir on the subject.
