§ MR. ACLANDThe pattern of shield has not yet been settled, and I am not therefore able to say when the shields are likely to be issued. The weight of the gun and shield of the converted 15-pr. will be 25 cwt. 2 qrs. 24 1bs. as against 24 cwt. 3 qrs. 21 1bs. for the 18-pr. Q. F. gun.
