§ MR. NIELDTo ask the President of the Board of Education whether the Department would sanction, as within Clause 3, Sub-section 3, of the Education Bill, an arrangement whereby, as a condition of the transfer of a privately-owned voluntary elementary school, a local education authority gave an undertaking to the owner of the school that the school-house should be placed at the disposal of such private owner on schoolday evenings and during holidays.
(Answered by Mr. McKenna.) The arrangement referred to in the Question would not be possible as a condition of transfer under Clause 3 (3).
