MR. CLAUDE HAY (Shoreditch, Hoxton)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether he can state whether postal servants who are members of the Territorial Forces will have leave of absence from official duties to attend camp; if they will receive their Civil Service pay during these periods; and whether he can state the regulations issued by the Post Office dealing with this subject.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) The regulations authorised by the Treasury provide for the grant of special leave up to a maximum of fifteen days in such cases. The Treasury Regulations as regards pay will be published immediately.
