O'MARA (Kilkenny, S.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners have received an application for reinstatement from an evicted tenant, Edward Blackmore, Piltown, on the estate of the Earl of Bessborough; whether the local inspector has inquired into this case; and whether any steps have been taken to reinstate.
(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners received the application in question on the 13th instant only. The case will be inquired into by an inspector in due course.
