§ MR. SHACKLETON (Lancashire, Clitheroe)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether he has received the Report of Sir Hamilton Smith regarding his inquiry into the hours of labour and conditions of factory life in Bombay; and, if so, will such Report be laid upon the Table of the House.

It will be published at a very early date by the Government of India, to whom it was made. I shall take steps to lay copies upon the Table of the House.
