§ SIR ANDREW TORRANCE (Glasgow, Central)To ask the Secretary of State for India whether he is able to state if Sir Hamilton Freer-Smith found the conditions of factory labour in India such as to require legislative enactment to shorten the hours of work, or did he find that the conditions were such as not to call for any legislative interference.
