HC Deb 27 May 1907 vol 174 cc1325-6
MR. G. GREENWOOD (Peterborough)

I beg to ask Mr. Attorney-General whether in view of the Report of the Registrar of the Land Registry for the years 1903 to 1906, containing suggestions for the improvement of the system of land registration, by providing for the establishment of a general register of all land in England and Wales with absolute title at an early date and at a moderate cost, the Government propose to intro- duce legislation in order to carry such recommendations into effect.

I have nothing to add to the Answer I gave to a similar Question on the 6th March.† The subject is still receiving consideration.
