HC Deb 23 May 1907 vol 174 c1154
MR. PIKE PEASE (Darlington)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in view of the public importance to the trade of this country of the negotiations pending between Canada and certain foreign countries respecting the modification of the Canadian tariff in favour of those countries, he will now give the precise terms of the statement submitted by Sir Wilfrid Laurier to the Conference explaining the attitude of the Canadian Government on this question.

(Answered by Mr. Churchill.) I have to refer the hon. Member to the Report of the Proceedings of the Conference which will be laid before Parliament in a, few days time.
