HC Deb 16 May 1907 vol 174 cc1092-3
CAPTAIN CRAIG (Down, E.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he will give instructions that the British flag be flown on the new War Office building on Empire Day, 24th May.

MR. J. A. PEASE (; for MR. HALDANE) Essex, Saffron Walden

As the hon. and gallant Member was informed last year, the date in question is not one of the days on which a flag is ordered to be flown at the War Office.

CAPTAIN CRAIG

asked if the Secretary of State would not have it done this year.

MR. J. A. PEASE

said his right hon. friend did not propose at present to add to the number of days on which the flag was flown at the War Office.
