7. £373,400, to complete the sum for Superannuation and Retired Allowances.

8. £368, to complete the sum for Miscellaneous Charitable and other Allowances.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That a sum, not exceeding £139, be granted to His Majesty, to complete the sum necessary to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1908, for Hospitals and Infirmaries, and certain Miscellaneous, Charitable, and other Allowances in Ireland, including sundry Grants in Aid."

CAPTAIN CRAIG

inquired as to the prospect of another Committee of Inquiry into hospitals already receiving grants-in-aid in Dublin. He did not wish to criticise the grants at present made, but he would like to know, seeing that fifty-two years had elapsed since they were chosen.
