HC Deb 15 May 1907 vol 174 c952
*SIR CHARLES DILKE (Gloucestershire, Forest of Dean)

I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies, with regard to proposals for the throwing open of Swaziland to prospectors, whether any change in the Swaziland Order in Council of December last is contemplated, or any interference with the direct control of the Crown over Swaziland or with the arrangements on behalf of the natives, and extended reservation of native lands, announced by him in connection with the grant of the Transvaal constitution.

MR. CHURCHILL

No amendment of the Order in Council is at present in contemplation nor any alteration in the general policy of His Majesty's Government with regard to Swaziland.
