HC Deb 15 May 1907 vol 174 c948
VISCOUNT MORPETH (Birmingham, S.)

To ask the Secretary of State for War if the special reservists will be paid at the rate now paid to the first-class Army Reserve; and, if not, on what scale will the payment be made.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) It is proposed that the pay of the special contingent when called up for training shall be on the scale of that of the Regular Army, and that their reserve pay shall approximate to the bounties now given to the Militia.
