§ MR. O'MARA (Kilkenny, S.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will say whether the proposed distribution of electoral divisions given in Schedule 1 of the Irish Councils Bill is made on the basis of population.
(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) In fixing the number of members for each of the counties and county boroughs regard was had, so far as possible, to the respective populations.
