I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if he can give the estimated market value of the three obsolete war vessels sold from the Holy Loch, had these been sold without the breaking up condition; and, if not, will he take steps to find this out regarding the remaining vessels anchored in the Clyde.

It is not possible in either case to say what price the vessels in question would realise if sold without any condition as to breaking up. We have no data on which to base an estimate.
