HC Deb 14 May 1907 vol 174 c799
MR. J. DEWAR (Inverness)

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland if his attention has been drawn to the interdict recently granted against the parish council of Boleskine and Cleertarf from putting a road, which has always been regarded as a right of way, into a state of repair, which will permit it to be used as a means of access to a sanatorium being built by public subscription for the benefit of the people of Inverness-shire; and if he will take steps to enable this work to be completed.

MR. SINCLAIR

I have no official information, and am not in a position to express an opinion. The question appears to be one of disputed right of way, and while the general views of the Government on such questions are well known, I do not think that direct intervention is within my power.
