I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he will consider the desirability of introducing legislation to assimilate the practice with regard to compulsory State education to that now existing in the case of compulsory State vaccination, under which a conscientious objection or one fine absolves the parent from the consequences of not complying with the statute.
