HC Deb 13 May 1907 vol 174 c583
SIR THOMAS ESMONDE (Wexford, N.)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury, if he will give the names of the harbours on the Irish coast which have been inspected by the Board of Works with a view to their improvement.

(Answered by Mr. Runciman.) It does not form part of the duties of the Board of Works to inspect harbours generally on the coast of Ireland with a view to their improvement. But the Board have occasionally, at the request of the Irish Government, made Reports on proposals for improvements. If the hon. Member desires any further information as to these cases, perhaps he will put a Question to the Chief Secretary.
