HC Deb 09 May 1907 vol 174 c369
MR. ALEXANDER CROSS (Glasgow, Camlachie)

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland if he is aware that, at a meeting of the Scottish Trades Union Congress, held in Aberdeen last week, attended by 132 delegates from trades unions from all parts of Scotland, representing 122,000 tradesmen, the house-letting question was considered, and a resolution passed in favour of reform; and whether, in view of the importance of this question, he will say when the Report of the Departmental Committee, which some time ago concluded its inquiry on this subject, will be issued.

MR. SINCLAIR

The Committee have finished taking evidence, and will lose no time in preparing their Report. But I am not able to name any date.
